How Contraceptives Can Cause Unrecoverable Damage?

Majority of the women use contraceptive pills without any worries, as they are not ware about the serious health complications these drugs can cause. Yes, we are not talking about mild to moderate side effects of these pills that can include modest nausea or slight cramping. We are talking about severe side effects of contraceptive pills such as Yaz, Yasmin, Ocella, and Gianvi that have been reported in numerous incidents.

Some of the severe side effects include kidney disorders, uncontrollable uterine bleeding, liver problems, stroke, gallbladder disease, and formation of blood clots that can cause deep vein thrombosis also known as DVT.

DVT is a serious health condition in which a blood clot forms in the deep veins of the legs. If the clot breaks away, travels to the lung, and causes the blockage in a lung artery, it is called Pulmonary Embolism (PE), which can be deadly. Chances of DVT increase significantly with these contractive pills because they contain estrogen and progestin that raise the risk of blood clot formation.

Many cases have been filed against the manufacturer of these medications for their serious side effects. Many women have also lost their lives due to such side effects. Therefore, if you or your loved one has fallen victim to these pills, it is essential to seek professional help. Depending on the experienced side effects and duration of the medication consumed, you may be entitled to receive a compensation to take care of your sufferings.

However, the most important thing is to seek medical counsel before you start taking any of the contraceptive pills available in the market. Numerous factors can increase the risks of side effects from these medications. Hence, under no circumstances, you should start any of the available pills without consulting your physician. After all, it is about your health and safety and there cannot be any place for negligence.
